Turkey biots are stiff, tapered fibers from the leading edge of a turkey’s primary flight feathers, used in fly tying to create segmented bodies, tails, wings, and other realistic insect features. They are longer and more flexible than goose biots, making them ideal for wrapped bodies on dry flies and nymphs, especially on hook sizes 14 and larger.
